Resumen del producto
Human breast milk contains a wide variety of metabolites necessary to supply the nutritional needs of infants. There are physiological factors that modify the composition of breast milk such as age, diet, and health status (1). Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) is a pathological condition affecting breast milk’s nutritional composition, which directly impacts the quality of newborn’s food and the quantity of representative metabolites. For this, we determine the distribution and relative concentration of differential metabolites in breast milk of healthy mothers and mothers with GDM to identify representative metabolites that may influence the dysregulation in the mother-son binomial.
