This paper is a literature review on innovation and its influence on the performance of human talent 
in organizations. The proposed methodology is developed from the search in the Scopus database, 
between 2016-2022, inclusion and exclusion criteria were applied in the search. The proposed 
objectives were to determine the number of documents developed in the indicated timeline, in the 
same way in which area or sector, as well as the countries and journals in which these documents 
are located. The results show that the development of documents on innovation and human talent 
for a better organizational performance has a significant growth, and China and the United Kingdom 
are identified as the countries from which most of the published articles originate
